CCI Systems, an employee-owned communications network services company, needed a more centralized way to manage time and attendance for more than 570 employees across the U.S. After automating payroll processing with ADP, the company wanted to eliminate manual timesheet work and add customizable tracking, flexible approvals, complex pay rules, and better integration tools. CCI Systems selected NOVAtime 5000 SaaS from NOVAtime to support these workforce management needs.

NOVAtime implemented a custom web services integration between CCI’s PODS production operations application and NOVAtime 5000 SaaS so time data could flow automatically for on-call pay and overtime calculations. Employees began using the web-based system for timesheets and leave requests, while supervisors approved requests and payroll teams gained better visibility through dashboards and status tracking. The results included faster payroll processing, cutting turnaround from nearly 4 days to 1.5 days, achieving 100% electronic timesheet adoption within 6 months of go-live, and completing the implementation within CCI’s 3-month timeline.
