Dolder Resort, which operates the luxury Dolder Grand, the Dolder Waldhaus and Dolder Sports, needed a reliable, low‑overhead backup solution to protect booking systems, building management and guest services without disrupting daily operations. After finding EMC’s Legato Networker too administratively intensive, the resort chose NovaStor and its NovaStor DataCenter backup software to deliver 24/7 automated protection, open‑file backup and VMware support at a favorable price‑performance ratio.

NovaStor implemented NovaStor DataCenter with an automated disk‑to‑disk‑to‑tape (D2D2T) strategy, centralized monitoring and fault‑tolerant processes; the system backs up roughly 3 TB weekly with minimal resource and staff effort.
