Brazilian MSP, Qualitas Networks, Utilizes Disaster Recovery Features to Secure Small Business Data

Qualitas Networks, a São Paulo, Brasil–based MSP serving small businesses, needed reliable backup and disaster recovery to protect clients from ransomware, deleted files and OS crashes—challenges made harder by massive file counts and performance issues. To address this, Qualitas partnered with NovaBACKUP and adopted its Central Management Console and image-backup capabilities as core parts of their managed backup services.

Using NovaBACKUP, Qualitas implemented centralized monitoring plus scheduled image, full and differential backups and VM-specific policies, enabling rapid restores and easier management. When an accounting client’s server reached over 30 million files, Qualitas restored two images to dissimilar hardware and recovered every file with no data loss; the team reports they “have never lost a file” using NovaBACKUP, have repeatedly rescued customers from ransomware, and have used the solution since 2010—improving uptime, compliance and backup feasibility for clients.
