PESA turned to Novacura when it needed a better way to streamline material flow, improve transparency in warehouse processes, and move away from paper-based handling. The company said standard warehouse management systems were aimed mainly at distribution firms and did not fit its manufacturing environment or need for flexibility across many project types and process variants.

Novacura implemented Novacura Flow on scanners and tablets for incoming goods, shipments, warehouse movements, stocktaking, kanban filling, and logistics-unit tracking, along with notifications, labels, and integration with the logistics portal. PESA said the project reduced the time required to process incoming goods by 13%, while also making the process more controlled and transparent.
