Nordic Paper completes IFS Cloud migration in 11 months with Novacura

Nordic Paper, a leading producer of greaseproof and kraft paper, partnered with Novacura to upgrade its ERP system from IFS Applications v7.5 to the more modern IFS Cloud. The challenge was to execute a smooth migration while improving system stability and process efficiency for the future.

Novacura planned and executed the upgrade over a ten-month period, from January to November 2022, following a structured six-phase methodology. The solution provided Nordic Paper with a future-ready, evergreen cloud platform. Novacura emphasized that the overall stability post-go-live was very good, resulting in a more optimized and efficient operational foundation for the customer.
