Improving logistics management - Novacura Flow at Rockfin

Rockfin, an engineering company that designs, manufactures, and services oil systems, needed to automate warehouse processes and extend its existing IFS ERP system. The company wanted to replace manual operations and paper tracking sheets with mobile devices and barcode-based identification to improve quality, shorten daily warehouse tasks, and increase visibility into material flows. It chose Novacura Flow because it offered a short implementation time and flexibility to fit Rockfin’s processes.

Novacura defined warehouse workflows in a three-day workshop and built support for scanners and terminals without changing the ERP structure. The solution let Rockfin manage item flow by project number or melt, access data online from terminal screens, and perform inventory transactions directly in the ERP, reducing lead times for material identification, booking, and completion while saving paper. Rockfin now uses eleven terminals at three locations, and employees can modify workflows quickly, sometimes in 10-15 minutes instead of waiting weeks.
