Improved operational reliability at Iggesund with Novacura Flow

Holmen AB, a forest industry group with operations across Sweden, the UK and Spain, needed a more user-friendly and effective reporting process for preventive maintenance and warehousing at Iggesund Mill. The team wanted to modernize reporting routines in its IFS business system so engineers could record inspection findings during their rounds instead of writing them in a black notebook and entering them later at a desktop computer.

With Novacura Flow, Holmen AB built mobile flows for maintenance and warehouse work that connect to the underlying IFS business system. Engineers now report through an app on their phones, take photos on site, and only answer relevant questions, while warehouse staff have better control of picking lists, stock levels and inventory checks. Around 60 people currently use the solution, and Holmen AB says the risk of running out of key components has been minimized.
