Hafslund Eco merges 2 ERP systems in 9 months with Novacura

Hafslund Eco, a Norwegian energy company formed from a merger, faced the challenge of consolidating two separate IFS ERP systems (versions 8 and 9) into one unified platform. To integrate business processes and improve operational control, they partnered with vendor Novacura, who used its Novacura FLOW product as a key part of the solution.

Novacura successfully upgraded and merged the two systems into a single IFS 10 installation, removing all customizations. The project was completed remotely within the nine-month timeframe despite COVID-19 challenges. The solution enabled Hafslund Eco to seamlessly integrate its business processes, optimize resource management, and achieve enhanced capabilities for long-term operational success through automation and digitalization.
