Flow strengthens BW Offshore’s in-house development

BW Offshore, one of the world’s biggest suppliers of floating production services to the oil and gas industry, needed software that could ensure data communication between ships and land. The company was looking for a tool that could continuously synchronize its databases, and the strictest requirement was a replication module.

BW Offshore chose Novacura Flow and worked closely with Novacura to tailor it to its needs. The first phase of the three-phase project is complete, and a first version of the tool is now in use on two ships, where it is described as working very well. BW Offshore said the application is stable and fully aligned with its plan to develop more applications in-house.
