Specma Hydraulic, the market-leading supplier in Scandinavia of application-based hydraulic systems, was looking to improve its warehouse process to increase productivity and raise service level compliance for clients. To support that goal, the company turned to Novacura and its Flow barcode system with barcode scanners.

Novacura implemented the barcode solution so warehouse data would be registered once and reported directly to the business system. According to Specma Hydraulic, the work process became significantly faster, warehouse workers increased efficiency by about 30 percent, and the error rate dropped radically. The project was completed within the planned time frame, and inventory could be done without calling in staff over the weekend.
