Check is a shared mobility company offering e-scooters through its app in Rotterdam and beyond. As an app-only business, it needed a way to guide new users through onboarding, keep them informed, and deliver timely service communications without overwhelming people who weren’t actively using the service. Check worked with Notificare, using its mobile-focused marketing automation platform for email and push notifications.

Notificare implemented personalized, automated messaging for onboarding, service alerts, and marketing campaigns. This included nudges for users who started but didn’t finish registration, weather-related in-app warnings, and follow-up messages after scooter use, as well as seasonal promotions and referral communications. The results were strong: within the first week, 70% of unique installs became registered users, and 81% of those users enabled notifications.
