Cottrell Title & Escrow sought to modernize and simplify real estate closings in Southwest Florida, removing the need for in-person signings, printing, and coordinating mobile notaries. They partnered with Notarize, using the Notarize for Mortgage platform and the Notarize for ResWare integration, to pilot a fully digital closing experience.

Notarize implemented an end-to-end online closing workflow integrated with ResWare that eliminates printing, scanning, shipping, and separate mobile notary coordination while automatically returning notarized documents into ResWare. The result: Cottrell Title & Escrow completed the first fully online closing in Southwest Florida—an 82-year-old seller closed in under an hour—and achieved faster document processing and earlier payment to title agents.
