North Kansas City Hospital, an acute-care health system with 550 clinicians across 46 specialties and Cerner as its EHR, needed a faster, more scalable way to reach eligible patients and schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointments. North Kansas City Hospital went live in just two weeks, scheduled 1,600 patients in the first 45 minutes, reached 80,000 appointments in the first three weeks, and achieved a 99% patient satisfaction rating, while at peak booking more than 5,400 patients in a single day.
