Austin Regional Clinic (ARC), a multispecialty clinic serving more than 500,000 patients across 12 cities, was struggling with rising administrative burden as providers spent hours each day on documentation in Epic. Despite investing heavily in digital patient access, ARC needed a way to reduce after-hours charting and free clinicians to spend more time with patients. Notable’s automated documentation and digital front door capabilities were selected to help address this challenge.
With Notable, ARC automated pre-visit intake and note creation by collecting patient questionnaires, generating HPI/ROS content, and populating it into Epic for provider review. Providers could then complete notes and place orders via mobile, cutting time spent in Epic by 50% and reducing documentation time by 45%. ARC also reported 4 additional patients per provider per month and a provider NPS of 74, while planning to expand Notable to automate registration, payments, and consent collection.
