A NOSIGNER Case Study
The Bauhaus 100 Japan Project, a commemorative initiative celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus school, sought to communicate the legendary school's design philosophy and educational significance to a modern Japanese audience through a series of events and exhibits. The project engaged the design firm NOSIGNER for overall art direction and branding to help achieve this goal.
NOSIGNER developed an innovative anatomical design approach for the "kommt ans bauhaus!" exhibition, creating a 3D animated logo that visually represented core Bauhaus shapes and the number 100. Their solution involved dissecting iconic Bauhaus architecture and products to visualize the design thinking process, an approach applied across posters, tickets, catalogs, and the exhibition space itself. The resulting exhibit successfully toured five art museums across Japan in 2019 and 2020, communicating the importance of innovative creativity education to a large number of visitors.
