Houston County Department of Human Services, working with Northwoods, needed a better way for foster care licensers to find and share the information required for placements. Northwoods implemented Traverse to put documents, case details, and medical and social history at staff members’ fingertips through search and easy access. The result was less time spent searching, stronger communication with foster providers, better information sharing, and more time for recruiting, which the agency says helped increase foster care applicants and improve the chances of successful placements.
