The customer, Purolator, a leading Canadian courier and logistics company, faced the challenge of upgrading its digital experience to improve site performance, security, and provide customers with faster access to delivery options and tracking. To address this, Purolator partnered with vendor Northern Commerce for a Digital Experience Platform (DXP) Implementation.

Northern Commerce implemented a Drupal 8 CMS backed by Acquia's CDN and WAF, creating a mobile-friendly and accessible site. The solution included a successful SEO migration that preserved domain authority and a new search integration that increased information volume. The project was completed in six months and resulted in a website that minimizes user visits to minutes, handling over nine million page views monthly. Northern Commerce's work won the 2021 Web Excellence Award for Professional Services.
