The Felix Project upskills 30+ leaders and scales volunteering with North Highland

The Felix Project, a London-based food redistribution charity, faced significant challenges managing its rapid growth during the COVID-19 pandemic. Issues included employee burnout, inconsistent corporate partnerships, and a lack of focus on people development. The charity engaged North Highland for strategy and change support to design a scalable corporate partnership model and to upskill its leadership team.

North Highland designed and piloted a new "Corporate Green Scheme" partnership model to increase scalability and reduce administrative burden. They also delivered a targeted "train-the-trainer" series to over 30 leaders, focusing on critical skills like leading change and delivering feedback. This solution provided The Felix Project with a highly repeatable process for corporate volunteering and built lasting internal capability, strengthening team culture and increasing employee engagement.
