Mary’s Place, a non-profit providing shelter and services to families experiencing homelessness, faced the challenge of understanding employee sentiment to better support its staff and improve retention, especially as demand for services increased during the COVID-19 pandemic. Partnering with North Highland, the organization sought to build scalable HR practices and use data to enhance the employee experience.
North Highland conducted employee focus groups and a sentiment survey to map the staff journey and identify key pain points.
