A Normative Case Study

Preview of the Reform Case Study

Reform works toward its climate targets with Normative

Reform, the Danish kitchen and design brand based in Copenhagen, wanted a reliable way to measure and reduce its carbon footprint as part of its climate targets. It turned to Normative and used its carbon accounting engine to calculate historical scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions across the company’s entire footprint.

With Normative’s help, Reform identified emissions hotspots, developed a strategy for reducing past emissions, and set forward-looking targets from a 2020 baseline: cut scope 1 and 2 emissions 42% by 2030 and scope 3 emissions 30% by 2030. Reform also plans to counter all historical emissions through forest and biodiversity projects, while Normative’s analysis highlighted the value-chain focus needed to drive broader reductions.
