Nordic optimizes Epic for hospice and palliative care facility

Agrace Hospice & Palliative Care, headquartered in Fitchburg, WI, used Epic through a Community Connect partnership to support its hospice and palliative care operations. While the system was a strong foundation, Agrace needed help addressing challenges with scheduling, billing, and overall efficiency so it could better serve its unique patient population.

Nordic partnered with Agrace pro bono to optimize Epic for hospice and palliative care, recommending improvements such as one-click scheduling and work queues to simplify triage and patient scheduling. Nordic also trained clinicians on more efficient system use, helping Agrace increase the number of patients it could treat, track follow-up visits and patient requests more effectively, and free up resources for reinvestment in grief support and patient services.
