Bellin Health partners with Nordic to extend ThedaCare's EHR

Bellin Health, a community-owned health system in Wisconsin, needed help implementing Epic through a Connect-style model shared with ThedaCare, meaning Epic provided limited direct project support. Bellin turned to Nordic for experienced Epic consulting and a strong cultural fit to guide the install across three hospitals and multiple facilities.

Nordic led the Inpatient Connect implementation, bringing Bellin live on time in June 2012 and significantly under budget. The big-bang go-live covered key Epic modules across the organization, and within three months Bellin’s application teams were self-sufficient without consultants; the rollout also contributed to strong user satisfaction and helped support Bellin’s later recognition as one of the nation’s safest hospitals.
