AdvantageCare Physicians partnered with Nordic to improve revenue cycle performance by optimizing Epic’s Real Time Eligibility functionality. The health system wanted to reduce eligibility and referral denials, lower operational costs, and improve patient satisfaction across its 36 locations, 450 physicians, and 165 care teams.

Nordic’s senior consultant worked with AdvantageCare Physicians to define requirements, prioritize payer plan mapping and copay filing, and optimize 15 existing payers plus three previously non-enabled payers. As a result, Nordic helped reduce eligibility and referral denials by 47%, cut operational expenses by 32%, and trained the director of patient access to serve as the organization’s primary RTE expert.
