Case Study: Space Nation achieves a scalable, agile website with Nordcloud

Designing a modular website to serve over 30 million visitors monthly

Space Nation, a Finnish start-up, needed a new website after a rebrand drove traffic to around 30 million monthly visitors, overwhelming its existing web presence. Nordcloud was brought in to create a more modern, scalable site that could support frequent content updates, video streaming, and app promotion, while also staying flexible enough for last-minute brand and vision changes.

Nordcloud delivered a modular, reusable website built on WordPress hosted by WPEngine, using design system principles to launch the first version in just a couple of weeks. The new solution gave Space Nation a scalable, low-maintenance foundation and enabled rapid updates as the brand evolved, while also supporting one of its main products, the web-based journal Space Nation Orbit.
