Yenlo, a provider of managed middleware services, faced a significant challenge in efficiently setting up new customer environments for its WSO2-based Connext Platform. The manual and customized process of installing software on virtual machines was extremely resource-intensive, taking an average of 25 days per new environment setup. To support its shift to a subscription-based Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) model, Yenlo needed to fully automate and drastically accelerate this process and partnered with Nordcloud to achieve it.

Nordcloud implemented a holistic, automated solution built on AWS, utilizing its proprietary Nordcloud Provisioner tool and Auto Backup service. The infrastructure was automated with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CloudFormation to manage account creation and software deployment. This partnership enabled Yenlo to create new, fully segregated customer environments in just hours instead of weeks, representing a 50 times faster deployment time. The success allowed Yenlo to successfully transition to a recurring revenue subscription model with its fully managed service.
