Nordcloud assisted BDO, a global public accounting, tax, and advisory organization, with its challenge to migrate two final key applications from its data center to the cloud. This project, which was part of a wider initiative to shut down their data center, faced potential delays and funding issues due to the COVID-19 pandemic and needed to be executed entirely remotely.

The solution involved a lift-and-shift migration to Microsoft Azure. Nordcloud coordinated with Microsoft to extend funding milestone timings and then used its Migration Factory to execute the 100% remote migration across four countries within eight weeks. This successful effort allowed BDO to shut down its data center on schedule, with Nordcloud's expertise minimizing the required downtime to just a single weekend.
