Veikkaus, Finland’s national betting agency and a major public-sector e-commerce business, needed to scale its AWS environment as usage grew beyond the initial limits. Veikkaus turned to Nordcloud for migration and modernisation support to help move from an automated deployment to a fully automated infrastructure that would be easier to duplicate, maintain, and expand.

Nordcloud worked with Veikkaus’ experts to build a fully automated AWS infrastructure with secure secrets management, dockerized services, and rewritten services using AWS managed services where possible, including running workloads in ECS. The result was a scalable, fully automated AWS setup that improved agility and flexibility, supporting Veikkaus’ growing demand and helping provide the Veikkaus.fi content more efficiently.
