Case Study: Lassila & Tikanoja streamlines roll-off ordering with Nordcloud

A new customer service solution

Nordcloud helped Lassila & Tikanoja, a Finnish service company, address the challenge of making roll-off ordering easier for construction contractors. Before the new service, customers had to wait in phone queues to reach sales or customer service, wasting time for both contractors and L&T staff. The project focused on creating a self-service solution for ordering roll-offs and requesting switches, with a mobile-first experience for users on the go.

Nordcloud ran a 5-day design sprint to create the business model, concept, and early prototype, then handed it over for further design, piloting, and development. The solution was tested on ten construction sites and launched successfully the following year. Within two years, adoption increased by 50%, while Lassila & Tikanoja improved customer service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
