A nopCommerce Case Study
xDalys, the largest Lithuanian supplier of used vehicle parts, was running its online store on the nopCommerce platform (originally v3.4) with about 8 million SKUs. They faced severe performance and localization problems when expanding the catalog and adding translated content, and needed different payment and site behavior for two user types (businesses vs. individual shoppers).
Using nopCommerce as the base, Dev Partner upgraded the site to v3.8, built a new Solr-based search plugin and search-builder pages, extended multi-store functionality to apply different settings/payment options by user type, and launched a mobile site. As a result, xDalys’ catalog grew from 8 million to 14 million products, three additional languages were added, localization completed, and search and page performance significantly improved.
