Potu Shop - Customer Case Study

Potu Shop is an Indian multi-vendor online marketplace (1500+ products, 300 vendors) that needed a flexible reward points system and more granular delivery control. They chose nopCommerce for its built-in multi-vendor, reward points and promotions features but engaged nopCommerce solution partner NCode when the project required customizations to support two separate point types (shopping vs delivery), per-product/category point settings, promo-code-triggered points, and pin-code delivery/COD rules.

NCode customized nopCommerce to split points into Shopping Points and Delivery Points, added per-product and per-category point limits, a customer “Potu points” account tab, promo-code logic to award specific point types, and a pin-code delivery/COD availability checker to automate order eligibility. The site launched in 2018 and, using nopCommerce and NCode’s work, now serves 53,000 live customers with 1500+ products from 300 vendors, improved the customer experience, and reduced customer-service time through delivery automation.
