Ofix B2B and B2C eCommerce project with custom features

Ofix is a large Mexican office and school-supply retailer (25 stores, ~900 employees) that needed a single eCommerce solution to serve both retail (B2C) and wholesale (B2B) customers. Working with Tecnofin, Ofix migrated from a Microsoft Site Server derivative onto the nopCommerce platform and required custom B2B functionality and separate customer flows to support different catalogs, pricing and order workflows.

Tecnofin implemented a two-store approach on nopCommerce—Ofix for retail and Office Club for B2B—integrated with Oracle Business One for product, inventory, pricing and orders, added EnvioClick shipping, drop-shipping connections, customer-specific catalogs/pricing, role-based ordering and a Punch-Out SAP module. The nopCommerce-based solution grew the B2C catalog to 10,000 products, drove nearly 300,000 monthly visitors, added new payment and logistics options, and delivered a tailored B2B experience that met Office Club’s complex requirements.
