Migrating to nopCommerce & 2 times growth on average orders

Mosbatesabz is an online pharmacy that migrated from a custom, inextensible platform to nopCommerce after suffering frequent downtime, security defects, an unnormalized database causing slow queries, and limitations on adding features. The shop also faced a large migration scope (about 4,000 products, 5,000 orders, and 150,000 product attributes), SEO-unfriendly URLs, images stored in the file system, missing fields required by the new platform, and poor reporting due to the legacy schema.

To address this, Resaneh Laboratory implemented a mapping service and per-entity migration methods, converting images to binary, migrating dependent entities first, and adding plugins for phone number authentication and delivery scheduling (available on the nopCommerce marketplace); regex redirects handled old URLs. After the full migration to nopCommerce in July 2018, response times and resource consumption dropped dramatically (from ~256 GB to 8 GB RAM usage), average monthly orders doubled, registered customers per month rose 77%, system security improved (no successful attacks), and site traffic rank increased.
