Maury’s, a leading Italian retailer with more than 100 stores across Italy, launched its e-commerce business on PrestaShop in 2018 but quickly ran into performance, customization, and scaling limits as demand grew. The company needed a more robust platform that could support real-time integration with its internal systems, complex checkout and logistics rules, SEO and search improvements, and other advanced e-commerce requirements. nopCommerce was selected as the replacement platform.

Working with Arkomedia s.r.l., Maury’s migrated to nopCommerce on Azure with an intermediate API layer, multi-server architecture, microservices, CDN protection, and deep integrations with CRM, inventory, logistics, promotions, and marketing tools. The new site delivered a 25% faster load time, a 10% decrease in cart abandonment, a 24% increase in new visitors, a 19% reduction in bounce rate, and a 38% increase in average session duration, while also improving security, scalability, CSAT, and ROI.
