IC Intracom Mexico increased availability to B2B customers

IC Intracom, a regional distributor of PC peripherals and networking products, needed to move from phone- and email-based ordering to a self-service eCommerce channel integrated with their ERP to handle fast growth. Working with Tecnofin, they launched an online store built on the nopCommerce platform to give B2B customers 24/7 access to product catalogs, pricing and ordering.

Using nopCommerce (implemented by Tecnofin) the store was fully ERP-integrated and added features like shopping lists, Excel SKU import, multi-currency pricing and live chat. The result: 99% of sales moved online within six months, customers gained round-the-clock access, and the number of sales administrators fell from 10–12 to 3–4 while the telemarketing team refocused on account management and business development.
