Biponee.com is a fast-growing eCommerce marketplace in Bangladesh that set out to become a top-3 marketplace while delivering a high-performing mobile app and integrated customer service, logistics and vendor management features. To meet these goals the team selected the open-source nopCommerce platform and needed admin-area customization, extended vendor functionality and robust integrations for a large-scale marketplace.

Using nopCommerce, the implementation team (via nopStation/Brain Station-23) built and extended the platform with a native mobile app, bulk product-edit and quantity-update tools, an enhanced order list, vendor extension, live purchase notifications, email-marketing and order-management plugins. The result: a site launched in about 90 days, reached roughly 30,000 registered customers, ranked among the top three marketplaces in Bangladesh competing with 200+ sites, was sold to a group of companies three years later, and produced the first nopCommerce iOS/Android app plus several free plugins for the community.
