Bateel, whose previous WordPress store suffered from poor performance and weak security, needed a more secure, better-performing e-commerce platform with organized order and fulfillment management, reporting, help desk support, social logins and CRM integration. Citytech recommended and implemented a new nopCommerce store to address these challenges.

Using nopCommerce, Citytech leveraged out-of-the-box order, payment and shipping features and reporting, added product management and reviews, developed five custom plugins (geo-IP redirection, MailChimp integration, one-page checkout, currency calculator with estimated shipping, and a custom filter), integrated a custom payment gateway, migrated product data with import scripts, and set up Google Analytics. As a result, Bateel achieved a 10× increase in online sales and more than 200 user sign-ups per month.
