A*STAR Research Support Centre (RSC), a Singapore-based end-to-end life science products and services provider, needed a faster, more compliant way to connect researchers with laboratory consumables, scientific services, and shared research facilities. As demand grew, manual procurement processes, multiple quote requirements, and audit/compliance needs were slowing researchers down.
Working with nopCommerce solution partner Zooloo, A*STAR Research Support Centre launched an e-shopfront built on nopCommerce and integrated it with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI. The result was a fully automated ordering, booking, and fulfillment workflow that expanded product offerings from 300 to 5,000 items, added services from 21 scientists, cut order confirmation time from five days to same day, and kept the platform audit-ready for simpler compliance.
