Siemens Healthineers faced a challenge at global trade shows, where the large size and logistical difficulty of transporting their advanced diagnostic machines limited their ability to present a complete range of products to potential buyers. To overcome this physical limitation and create a more immersive experience, they partnered with the vendor Nomtek to develop an augmented reality solution using Apple Vision Pro.

Nomtek delivered a RealityKit-based application for the Apple Vision Pro that allows users to explore high-fidelity, full-scale 3D models of the medical equipment in an immersive spatial environment. A key feature was a remote-control mode from an iPhone, which made the demo more accessible and allowed marketing staff to guide the experience. This solution eliminated the need to transport physical machines, saving cost and space, and resulted in a more flexible and effective sales tool that improved conversations with partners and investors.
