Langenscheidt ships a cross-platform vocabulary app with Nomtek and 7-stage progress tracking

Nomtek partnered with Langenscheidt, a renowned language learning publisher, to build a vocabulary training app. The challenge was to create a modern mobile tool that increases learning efficiency, allows teachers to track student progress and customize curricula, and helps students maintain consistency through remote learning.

The solution, developed using Flutter and Ruby on Rails, was the Langenscheidt Vokabeltrainer app. It features advanced progress tracking, customizable lessons, and five different learning games. Nomtek implemented a CI/CD pipeline with Bitrise for transparent development and integrated Firebase for analytics. The result was a highly responsive, pixel-perfect application that became a key part of the client's sales pitch and helped them open important conversations with partners and investors.
