Pets Place, part of IJsvogel Retail, is a pet food and care retailer selling via ecommerce and 180 physical stores. Facing pressure from new pure‑ecommerce competitors that threatened market share, Pets Place needed to rethink brand positioning and marketing; to start a data‑driven transformation they deployed Nominow’s customer data platform (CDP) as an MVP.

Nominow connected the CDP to Magento, BlueRetail POS, Copernica, Qlik and a Loyalty App to create a single customer view, using behavior, transaction and pet lifecycle data to trigger personalized campaigns. The targeted communications paid off—VIP club members now have an average order value 66% higher than non‑members—demonstrating measurable uplift from Nominow’s solution.
