SCHOTT - Customer Case Study

SCHOTT, a leading international technology group, faced a significant challenge in managing its vast network of over 200 bank accounts across more than 60 global entities. This complex and manual process was time-consuming and lacked transparency, especially concerning account statuses and signatory permissions. To overcome this, SCHOTT partnered with Nomentia to implement an automated solution using its treasury management system and specifically its electronic Bank Account Management (eBAM) capabilities.

Nomentia, in cooperation with Deutsche Bank, developed a fully automated workflow for account confirmations using the SWIFT network. The solution allowed SCHOTT to check account statuses and signatory rights at the press of a button, eliminating manual errors and increasing security. Since going live, the process is fully automated, saving significant time and providing complete transparency. This successful project has laid the technical foundation for SCHOTT to completely digitalize its entire bank account lifecycle.
