Brita GmbH, a German water filter manufacturer, faced significant challenges in its treasury operations after its multibank payment tool was discontinued. The department lacked a centralized, bank-independent system for managing its complex multinational payments across over 70 countries. Brita selected Nomentia's Payments solution to serve as a single, centralized tool for its payment transactions.

Nomentia provided a solution that connected to Brita's SAP ERP system and its various banks, including through the EBICS protocol. This allowed nearly all of Brita's German branches to process payments through one system, dramatically reducing errors and saving significant time for accountants through automation. The successful rollout in Germany, with an ongoing implementation in Italy, has provided Brita with improved process efficiency, automation, and a higher level of transaction transparency to avoid fraud.
