On Guard Storage and Their Use of Virtual Management
On Guard Storage set out to build a state-of-the-art, virtually managed self‑storage facility in Helena, Alabama that would elevate the customer experience and reduce the need for onsite staffing. To achieve this, On Guard Storage deployed the Nokē Smart Entry System as the core access and security platform for gates and unit doors.
Using Nokē alongside remote-access video and a virtual manager, On Guard implemented smartphone entry, digital key sharing, activity tracking, in‑app payments and automated overlocking. The Nokē-enabled facility achieved a rapid lease‑up (even with an unpaved driveway during opening), lowered operating expenses by eliminating a full‑time onsite manager, and attracted tenants willing to pay premium rates thanks to the convenient, secure virtual‑management experience.
