UroTuning, a South Florida–based retailer of OEM and performance parts for Volkswagens, Audis, BMWs, MINIs and Porsches, was frequently targeted for fraud on high‑value orders. Their customer service team spent 10–15 hours a week manually verifying orders (using Whitepages Premium and auth forms), causing delays, lost sales from customers who refused verification, and $37,000 in chargebacks in 2018. After moving to Shopify they searched for a fraud partner and selected NoFraud.
NoFraud’s Shopify app automated order screening, eliminated manual verifications and order delays, and allowed UroTuning to disable restrictive gateway filters. As a result of NoFraud, approved orders rose 12% in the first month, $37K in annual chargebacks were eliminated, the customer service team was redeployed to outbound sales, and there were no order delays.
