Adapting Marketing Efforts During COVID-19.

The Ottawa Digital Marketing Certificate, hosted by Soshal and the Telfer School of Management, needed to quickly boost applications for its Summer 2020 program and keep the cohort viable as COVID-19 caused applicants to withdraw. Noetic Marketer was brought in to support a paid campaign using social media advertising, email marketing, Facebook ad design, and landing page design.

Noetic Marketer responded by shifting the program’s messaging to a virtual format, building a retargeting-focused Facebook and email campaign, refreshing ad creative, and optimizing new landing pages with A/B testing. The campaign helped the Ottawa DMC surpass its application goal by 127% and deliver a 19x return on ad spend (ROAS).
