Benenden Health, a healthcare provider supporting 800,000+ members, needed to modernize its IT environment as its growing business outpaced its existing infrastructure. Its on-premise platform was struggling to keep up, provisioning new capability took too long, and the organization needed a more scalable, highly available foundation for critical applications and sensitive member data. Node4 Ltd delivered a cloud-first architecture supported by disaster recovery, including migration to Microsoft Azure and Office 365, enabling Benenden Health to secure data, scale more easily, and reduce CapEx pressure through an OpEx model. The results included uninterrupted service, remote working support for IT staff, and a stronger DR capability, with failover tests showing recovery to the Northampton DR site in under five minutes. Benenden Health also said the migration took place over a weekend with no disruption noticed by users.
