Rackfish automates real-time routing across Stockholm and Uppsala with Noction

Rackfish, a hosting services provider specializing in campaign hosting, faced the challenge of ensuring reliable network availability for its latency-sensitive advertising campaigns, including live streaming and Video-on-Demand. To maintain reliable data delivery, they used multiple internet providers but needed to constantly monitor and manually redirect traffic to avoid under-performing routes. They selected Noction's Intelligent Routing Platform (IRP) to automate this process.

The solution implemented by Noction automatically evaluates the performance of all transit and peering partners in real-time to reroute traffic through the most reliable path. This eliminated the need for manual intervention and ensured highly trustworthy internet paths. Additionally, Noction IRP's support for multiple routing domains allowed Rackfish to automatically reroute traffic through its disaster recovery site for high-availability requirements. The results included fully automated traffic optimization, improved reliability, and freed-up engineering resources from constant network monitoring.
