How Noction IRP enables OFFISTE to deliver dedicated and reliable internet connectivity with no oversubscription and no route discrimination

OFFSITE, a cloud computing and data center provider based in Kenosha, Wisconsin, needed to improve WAN performance across its hosted and collocated services. The company wanted to minimize latency and packet loss, bypass congestion and outages, mitigate blackouts and brownouts, and gain deeper insight into WAN functionality. To address these challenges, OFFSITE turned to Noction and its Noction IRP platform for intelligent BGP route optimization.

Noction implemented IRP to proactively monitor network conditions and automatically reroute traffic around congestion and outages using the best-performing paths based on latency and packet loss. Over more than four months, Noction optimized over 25 TB of traffic and generated nearly 230,000 route improvements, reducing latency by 24% on average and packet loss by 86% on average. OFFSITE also used Noction’s analytics and troubleshooting tools to improve capacity planning, SLA validation, and overall network visibility.
