Global Layer, a Netherlands-based IP services and hosting company with multiple points of presence in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, needed to automate BGP routing to support rapid network growth, reduce engineering time, and improve latency, packet loss, and overall network performance. To address these challenges, the company turned to Noction and its Intelligent Routing Platform (IRP).

Noction deployed IRP to analyze traffic, probe remote destinations, and automatically optimize routing decisions through BGP announcements to edge routers. The results were significant: packet loss dropped by 80% and latency by 25% within the first few months, while more than 148,766 unique prefixes were improved. Global Layer also reported faster troubleshooting, reduced engineering effort, and fewer customer complaints about connectivity issues.
