Hivelocity boosts 100 Gbps network performance with Noction IRP

Hivelocity, a provider of dedicated server, VPS, and cloud hosting solutions, faced the challenge of managing its multi-homed network which was connected to multiple Tier 1 providers. The company needed to enable intelligent routing to improve network performance and optimize its over 100 Gbps bandwidth capacity. To address this, Hivelocity deployed the Intelligent Routing Platform (IRP) from vendor Noction to replace its existing routing solution.

The Noction IRP solution continuously monitors network flows, measures traffic performance across all providers, and automatically makes route changes based on predefined performance policies. This implementation improved Hivelocity's network performance through real-time optimization, allowing the company to redeploy technical resources away from manual BGP improvements and focus on other network enhancements.
